  1. What is the Digicel’s ‘Cricket Trivia Chest’ Text to Win Promotion?
    • The Digicel’s ‘Cricket Trivia Chest’ is a text to win Promotion gives all Digicel customers a chance to win great prizes by answering trivia questions relating to the Digicel Series and West Indies Cricket. During each week of play a cricket related trivia question will be asked during our radio broadcast. To participate, the commentators will be announcing the weekly questions throughout each broadcast and listeners will be asked to text in their answers for a chance to win. The winners will be selected randomly from the list of correct answers that have texted in. Participants will have to text in to the assigned regional short code; 444-CRIC (Jamaica), 600-CRIC (Guyana), and CRIC (All other markets). Once the winner has been selected the commentator will place a call to the winner advising them live on air that they have won and how to redeem their prize
  2. Who is eligible to enter this promotion?
    Digicel customers in the following Caribbean countries:
    • Antigua and Barbuda
    • Barbados
    • Dominica
    • Guyana
    • Jamaica
    • Saint Kitts and Nevis
    • Saint Lucia
    • Trinidad and Tobago
  3. How do I enter the promotion?
    • You may enter by listening to the Digicel Series radio broadcast on either the website feed or your local radio station transmitting the feed for the trivia questions. Text in the answers CRIC (2742), 444-CRIC (2742) in Jamaica, and 600-CRIC (2742) in Guyana.
    • Each correct answer is an entry into the draw.
  4. How do I know if I have won?
    • The answers will be announced on the radio broadcast. Also if you are randomly chosen from the list of correct answers sent in, you will be called by the commentator live on air letting you know that you have won.
  5. When can I send in my answers?
    • Answers will be accepted once the commentators ask the question live on air. You can then text in the correct answers until the commentators announces the answers live on air.
  6. What is the cost to enter?
    • Each text message sent to the numbers above will be standard text rates in your respective markets per 160 character text. Except for Jamaica where the cost will be a premium of JM$4 per text.
  7. What will I have a chance to win?
    • You will have a chance to win the prize package listed below:
      • A Digicel Blackberry Goodie Bag package consisting of:

  8. What is the promotional period?
    • The promotion begins on May 20th 2011 and ends 11:59 p.m. on July 10, 2011.  
  9. When will the winner be selected?
    • The winners will be selected on the following dates:
      May 24th, June 8th, June 13th, June 24th, July 2nd, July 10th
  10. How often am I allowed to enter?
    • You are allowed to enter as often as you wish.
  11. How will the winner be selected?
    • One winner will be randomly selected from the pool of correct entries.
  12. How many winners will be selected?
    • Six (6) winner will be selected
  13. What if I was called, but I missed the call?
    • In order to win the prize you are required speak with the Digicel representative.
    • If the call is unanswered then the attempt has failed. A failed attempt includes calls that are unanswered, calls that go to the voicemail or if the phone is turned off.
    • Five (5) attempts, within an hour, will be made to contact each customer that is chosen.
    • If all five (5) attempts fail, then another potential winner is selected.
  14. If I was contacted and won where do I collect the prize?
    • You will be required to collect your prize at your local Digicel offices. Local Digicel Representatives will be in contact with you to advise when and where to retrieve your prizes.
  15. If I was contacted and have won, how long do I have to collect my prize?
    • You are required to collect your prize within thirty (30) days of being contacted.
  16. What do I need in order to claim the prize?
    • You are required to take with you the following items
      • A government issued photo ID (passport, driver’s license or national voter’s card)
      • The phone with the SIM card for the winning number that was used to enter.
  17. Am I allowed to enter if I am under 18 years of age?
    • Yes. Persons under 18 years are allowed to enter.
  18. What do I do if I have won and I am under 18 years old?
    • If you are a winner and are under 18 years old you will be required to be escorted by a parent or guardian with a valid photo ID when visiting the office to collect your prize package.
